Established in 1991 when the vineyards of Charles Mortet (Denis's father) were divided up, the domain (which has the same name), covers all the appellations from the commune of Gevrey to produce an annual total of 55,000 bottles. The Champonnets premier cru vineyard produces concentrated and powerful Gevreys that need a few years to settle down. A gem to keep in the cellar for a good few years.
