The Chavy family resides in the village of Puligny-Montrachet for over 200 years and the name is famous for consistent production of fine, elegant Burgundy.
Alain owns 6.5 hectares of splendid vineyards. As he moved to a new house, a brand new underground cellar was constructed – which is one of the very few in the entire commune.
Since the establishment of Domaine Alain Chavy, the quality of the wines is ever improving. Alain makes restrained style of Puligny with ripe (but never over ripe) fruit balanced by crisp acidity, which are designed to long aging.
